EXHIBITION // ARTISTIC RESIDENCE
REDESENHAR O LUGAR
PARA TRANSFORMAR O MUNDO
Quimera II is an international exhibition and artist residency project operating in Portugal, featuring the participation of 10 visual artists from five countries (Portugal, Greece, Croatia, Netherlands, and England).
Following the core motto “Redesigning the place to transform the world,” the invited artists are challenged to engage directly with local culture, geography, and history in continuous dialogue with the community.
Hosted by Procur.arte, the project functions in two distinct phases. The first phase consists of a collective exhibition showcasing works across a diverse range of visual languages, including painting, sculpture, video, installation, and drawing. The second phase shifts to Palhais/Barreiro, focusing on an intensive artist residency and an open-studio creative process that allows the public to engage directly with the production of the works.
